Sheffield Library Theatre Central Library, Tudor Square, Sheffield
In this illustrated talk, local historian David Templeman focusses on some of Sheffield’s oldest suburbs; in some cases dating back over a thousand years. Exploring familiar places including Attercliffe, Darnall, Heeley, Fulwood, and Crookes, David guides us through the centuries revealing the interesting origins and fascinating facts behind many of the places that we recognise as home. Please note – Unfortunately the Library Theatre is only accessible via steps, and at this point, is inaccessible to people with limited mobility.
